I capture portraits of families, children, newborns, maternity and seniors. I am located in Grimes, Iowa and proudly serve the areas of Grimes, Urbandale, Johnston, Clive, Des Moines, West Des Moines, Ankeny and Waukee.
I will provide a stress-free, fun and playful experience that will allow your family to let loose and interact authentically. During our time together, I will have you throwing your kids in the air, holding hands, starting tickle fights and sharing sweet kisses!

Frequently asked questions
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
For session locations, I will take sessions within 25 miles or 30 minutes of my immediate area. (Grimes, Iowa) I will however travel outside of that distance for a special travel fee.
Can I see an early "sneak peek" on social media from our session?
I know you are excited and anxious to see what we captured! I will post a sneak peek image from our session on Facebook within 72 hours of your session. Make sure you are a fan & follow Simply You Photography on Facebook & Instagram!
What if the weather doesn't cooperate for our outdoor session?
In the event of sickness, weather, or something beyond your control we will reschedule for the soonest available time. Iowa’s weather can be very unpredictable so sometimes a last minute reschedule will happen.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
Your photos will be available to you in an online gallery within 4 weeks from the date of your session. Your photos will be accessible in this gallery for at least 3 months. You will be able to download and save all your photos directly from the website. You may also purchase a USB drive to ensure your photos are in a safe spot for years to come!
